Excerpt from the feature story "The Delis family from Aetolofos, Agia" published by aetolofos.gr for Chrisi Milia:

In the broader plain of the Agia region lies the main cultivation of apples, where 18,000 tons annually cover the largest part of the cultivated land. The agricultural company Chrisi Milia is a dynamic family business headquartered in Aetolofos, Agia. Traveling back in time to the mid-1950s, we meet the grandfather of the family, Dimosthenis Delis, who systematically engaged in apple farming. Today, this activity is continued by his son, Alexandros Delis, with the support of his children, Maria and Dimosthenis. Guided by a broad business mindset and aided by the climate and soil composition of Aetolofos, they expanded into the extensive production of fresh fruits and tree nuts.

Recognizing the evolving nutritional needs, the Delis family turned exclusively to organic arboriculture in 2009—the year "Chrisi Milia" was officially established.
