Organic Apples
Aetolofos,in Agia region, is the heart of our production, where we grow seven selected apple varieties using strict organic farming methods.
From sweet Fuji, Gala and Golden Delicious apples to crisp Granny Smith, Jeromine, Jona Gored and Red Lady, each fruit stands out for its crunchy texture and rich flavour.
With modern cold storage facilities, we preserve the freshness and excellent quality of our apples throughout the year.

Gala
Fruit size: Small to medium
Colour: Red with greenish-yellow tones
Characteristics: Resistant to bruising, with a sweet flavour, mild aroma and relatively thin skin
Harvest period: Late August
Jeromine
Fruit size: Medium to large
Colour: Intense red
Characteristics: An early variety with white, crisp and sweet flesh and a pleasant acidity
Harvest period: Early September
Golden delicious
Fruit size: Large
Colour: Yellowish-green
Characteristics: A mid-season variety with crisp, juicy and flavourful flesh and mild sweetness

Fuji
Fruit size: Medium to large
Colour: Red with yellow-green tones
Characteristics: Crisp, juicy and exceptionally sweet flesh with a pleasant aroma

Characteristics: A late-season variety with firm, pale greenish-white, fine-textured and exceptionally juicy flesh with a distinctive tart flavour

Aiming to produce excellent quality products, Chrisi Milia has documented and applies a Food Safety Management System in accordance with EN ISO 22000:2005, and includes all functions related to product quality and trust relationships with customers.
ISO 22000:2005 is applied not only in the processing unit but across all phases of production, starting from growth and all the way to harvesting, pretreatment of raw materials, distribution, storage, sales and consumption.
We make sure that thorough checks are being conducted every step of the way and all quality and safety standards are being met as stipulated in the respective European and national legislation for consumer products.
Particular emphasis is placed on the storage of fresh products, which are kept in specially designed refrigerated facilities. Temperature and humidity are systematically monitored using dedicated recording equipment, ensuring the quality and freshness of the products until they are made available.
