Organic Walnuts & Chestnuts
At Delis Family, we grow selected varieties of chestnuts and walnuts with dedication in Aetolofos, Agia, following strict organic farming standards.
From local, crunchy chestnuts with their large, distinctive shape to Chandler walnuts with their light-colored kernel, each nut stands out for its high nutritional value and authentic flavour.
Through specialized cold storage conditions — 0°C and 90% humidity — we preserve the freshness and excellent quality of our nuts throughout the year.
Our Varieties
Chandler Walnuts
Fruit size: Medium to large
Colour: Light-coloured kernel with an attractive shell
Characteristics: A mid-to-late-season variety highly valued for its quality, flavour and commercial appeal
Harvest period: Early October
Local Chestnuts
Fruit size: Large
Colour: Light brown with vertical brown streaks
Characteristics: A local variety with pale yellowish-white flesh and crisp, attractive fruit of exceptional quality

Aiming to produce excellent quality products, Chrisi Milia has documented and applies a Food Safety Management System in accordance with EN ISO 22000:2005, and includes all functions related to product quality and trust relationships with customers.
ISO 22000:2005 is applied not only in the processing unit but across all phases of production, starting from growth and all the way to harvesting, pretreatment of raw materials, distribution, storage, sales and consumption.
We make sure that thorough checks are being conducted every step of the way and all quality and safety standards are being met as stipulated in the respective European and national legislation for consumer products.
Particular emphasis is placed on the storage of fresh products, which are kept in specially designed refrigerated facilities. Temperature and humidity are systematically monitored using dedicated recording equipment, ensuring the quality and freshness of the products until they are made available.
